It’s been a while! Now that most of our summer plans and traveling are behind us (but not entirely), I’m diving back into the edit, but there will be some changes going forward. I’d love to add a bit of context for why I choose what goes on the edit each week, so it doesn’t just feel like a linked image floating in your face each time I post one.
As July draws to a close, a lot of us are beginning to look forward to fall and the back-to-school season. My kids will be heading back to the classroom in just a few weeks, and fall weather begins to visit us fairly early here in Chicago. But, as anyone who experiences “true fall” knows, you need pieces that will help you transition from summer into fall. Mornings and evenings can be cool, while midday temps can rise to summer-like temps.
As far as home items, we’re still spending time outdoors, but the vibes are becoming a bit cozier and moodier. The palettes we are craving might become richer and the items we’re buying will, ideally, be easily utilized both indoors and out.
So, there you have it. This list is full of pieces that are still great for summer, but perfect for the warm colors and moods of fall.
