Some of us are old hat caffeine addicts, but I suspect 2020 has anointed some new coffee and tea drinkers among us. And even for those who abstain from the buzz, it’s always nice to have that coffee and tea gear around for guests (who will hopefully revisit our homes sometime in 2021). So, here it is. My top ten gifts for your favorite sipper:

CARVED DRIP TEAPOT BY CIERI FABRICATION
If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a bit, it’s probably no secret that Hannah and Charles Cieri of Cieri Fabrication are my favorite ceramicists. I DIE every time they drop a restock and, unsurprisingly, they sell out FAST. Which is exactly why I am timing this gift guide precisely with Cieri Ceramics 2020 Holiday restock! This Carved Drip Teapot is one for the books, but they have loads of other incredible offerings for your coffee or tea-loving friend (including 5 newly released styles coming at you for the first time ever). $156 USD

53/100 MUG BY LOLLY LOLLY CERAMICS
Lalese Stamps, the ceramicist behind Lolly Lolly, possesses a unique type of genius and, for that reason, her work is currently sold out. I still decided to share with you for two reasons: 1. an introduction for that moment she is re-stocked and 2. you can reach Lalese by email at hello@lolly-lolly.com to make any special requests. Be sure to give Lolly Lolly Ceramics a follow on Instagram as well, as she will often give the heads up there as to when she is re-stocked (at which point, you must RUN). $52 USD

MELIOR GOOSENECK KETTLE BY BODUM
A gooseneck kettle is a must for any coffee-lover to make a morning pour -over, but this electric kettle can work double duty as a tea drinkers best friend. I’ve owned the Melior for a few months now and it is put to task throughout the day, beginning with my first cup of Joe, and ending early evening with my last cup of tea. $40 USD

This Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade Certified coffee from Southdown is the perfect supplement to any gift. Southdown Coffee may be owned by my brother, BUT I promise you it is the best coffee you will ever taste. Even Food & Wine named it one of the BEST COFFEE SHOPS IN AMERICA, and my brother placed 3rd in the USA Coffee Championships in Roasting. Southdown boasts many seasonal offerings, but the Primavera is a staple that is sure to delight any palette. from $16 USD

DOUBLE SPRINKLES CREAMER FROM OM CERAMICS
OM Ceramic is another fabulous ceramics shop, based in Los Angeles. This Double Sprinkles Creamer is such a cute and thoughtful gift, and a piece that would be proudly displayed by any recipient. Be sure to check out OM’s full offerings, as every last piece is sure to impress. $52 USD

TEAPOT BY Léa & Nicolas (OFFERED BY GOODEE)
Léa & Nicolas are an incredibly talented, Montreal-based duo creating pieces that feel worthy of only our dreams. Each piece is handcrafted in their Canadian studio, and this teapot epitomizes their quirky, yet meticulous oeuvre of ceramics. This teapot is at the top of my Christmas list. $240 USD
